Wow!!! Where do I start. Things have been fun and exciting for us the past couple of weeks. Things have been going so great I cant complain. Being overwhelmed is scary but exciting. I was accepted to the George Mason Masters Program for the Spring 2011Semester. This is starts in January and if things go as planned than that is where I will be. It is crazy to think that I will be going back to school. I went for about two weeks before I broke my ankle and to be honest I didn't know if I would have the strength to go back. We have been very blessed and taken care of.
I am jumping into my new calling this week which is also scary for me. Sunday, November 14th I was called and sustained as the 2nd Counselor in the Primary Presidency. I had a couple weeks to marinate on this before I was sustained but now that it is my job I am freaking out. I am working with 2 wonderful ladies and I am excited and know that this is a great thing.
The gospel is such an amazing thing and I think sometimes I can forget that with the hustle and bustle of life. We are truly blessed people. I have learned so much not only about myself, but my husband and our marriage these last couple months with my ankle injury. What a blessing it has been to slow down and look at life. I catch myself now just thinking and realizing how blessed we are and what comfort the gospel brings. I am so grateful for the little daily things that I wasn't able to do with not being able to walk. How easy that is to forget when you are able to function and walk and go about your life without a hiccup. The body is an amazing thing. Take care of it. Don't over do it. Be grateful and thankful for the little things. Think about what you have, not what you don't. Be happy to be healthy, alive, and with the ones you love. :)
Love ya.

Very cool - what are you getting your master's in?!
You love kids and know how to work with them so you'll be so great in the primary. Good luck and just have fun.
