So it has been awhile. For those of you who even still look at my blog this is for you. As most of you already know I got engaged on Oct 24th. We had another trip to the beach and he proposed there. It was the perfect night. We are getting married in California on Feb 27th and I cant wait. Things seem to be coming together and I couldn't be happier.

Things have been that more busy with trying to find things, the kids, and looking into going back to school. It seems like I spend most of my time on the computer now a days when the kids are not around.

Sports seasons have about come to an end with one last soccer tournament this weekend. It is great to spend the day watching the kids do their thing. I have come to know somethings about soccer which is good because Devon loves it.

Other than that just being busy busy. I cant believe it is already going to be Thanksgiving. We are going to have a low key one with just Devon and I. Maybe a couple others but if not it will just be him and I.

HOly Slacker!!!!!

So It has been quite a while. That is how most of my blogging starts out I guess. I cant believe we are at the end of October. Things have been crazy. Between all the kids activies and mine I have kept busy. Being a Assistant Softball coach has been great. I hope to get my own team next Spring but they give parents of girls first priority but hopefully I have gotten my foot in the door. The Orange Crush have done well and I have enjoyed helping and coaching them. I will have to get some pictures before our season is up these next couple weeks.

Devon and I went to the Baltimore Aquarium awhile back. It was great. I recommend it for the kiddos. Devon has been putting in a lot of hours at work so we are hoping to hit up the beach this weekend. I hear the beach is beautiful in the fall and it suits me just fine since I dont care to get in the water anyway. I just like the view and the smell and having my feet in the sand.

Other than that just the usual busy stuff. Trying to finalize Christmas plans and stuff. I cant believe its that time again already.

I am Impressed!!!!

School has started and it has been busy around here. Morgan is now in the 4th grade and Mr. Scott is now is Kindergarten. I spend the mornings with him now and take him to school in the afternoon. So what do we do in the mornings? We go to Panera. My friend Hillary and I used to go everyday, crazy I know, but have since just gone when we both have time. Scott has started this thing lately where he likes to hide behind me when we go places and people talk to him. It can get kinda annoying but figure it shall pass. He was doing it again with Hillary who he has met before and used to climb all over. Anyway while we were there I was going through my usual rountine of talking to him dos and donts, thank you's, using his Big boy voice and not his baby voice. Oh yeah did I mention he talks like a baby when he hides. While I was talking to him this older women turned from her table, looks at Scott and says "Your Mom is teaching you some great things and how to be very respectful." She then looks at me and says how she is a retired kindergarten teacher and she was very impressed with what she had overheard. Seeing us together she soon must have figured that I wasnt his mom, this kid has huge blue eyes, and I told her I was his nanny. On her way out she made sure to look over again and say, "I was very impressed with you." :) Guess I am doing a good job with these little guys. Sometimes I wonder so it was great to here. Lets hope I can do just as well with my own children.

Wow!!!! August

Sorry for slacking. It has been 4 weeks. Thanks Rachel R. for keeping me on my toes with your sidebar updates. I know I have been slacking if I have to scroll down to see my last post. Haha.

Anyway. Things have been good. This week Frank and the kids went to Florida so Devon and I decided to head to VA Beach. (Again, yes I know) We were originially supposed to hit up Cali(sorry Mom) but plans changed and well I need to be better at planning that one. Haha. We did some fun things this time. We went to the Aquarium, went on a creek cruise(dont waste your money) and went on the Rudee Whaler to do some dolphine watching. We saw plenty of dolphins but the are pretty hard to catch on camera. We hit the beach up a little before a big storm passed and where on our way. Next time we go we are looking to go Parasailing. We also managed to get in some Go-Kart racing. Devon was a cheater and said he one but we all know who the better driver is. Haha. Other than that just chilling out until the kids come home. Three more weeks and they will be off to school. Scott will be starting Kindergarten and Morgan will be in the 4th grade. It will be so funny to drop them off together.

Things are great. Hoping to get in a trip to Utah in October to see my cute nephew Noah who is due end of September.

So this week has been a little busy. Morgan is at softball camp and Scott is at baseball camp. They both seem to enjoy it. After camp they are pretty tired from being in the sun and stuff so we have just been chilling out a little. We went to the park yesterday and on Monday they said they just wanted to "Lax" as Scott says. He is a funny little guy. Frank (thier Dad) birthday is on Saturday. Devon and I were talking about what we should get him for his birthday. Scotts reply was "You can pay off Dads house for his birthday." HAHA.

NExt week I have off so I will probably be bored out of my mind. We will see.

MY TIRED!!!!

Today is pretty boring day. Saturday comes around and I dont feel like doing anything. This week was a busy week. The kids were both at Soccer camp together. They had a couple different contests during the week and Scott won one of them. They had silly shorts day and we came up with some funny shorts for him. We just bought a cheap pair of shorts from Walmart and glued a bunch of feathers to them. He was so exited to win. Morgan....not so happy. She is funny. She just couldnt understand why her friends would vote for her brother and not for her. Silly girl. Eventually I just had to tell her to be happy for her brother. We cant win all the time.

I will have to post some pictures of them in thier silly shorts. Devon and I also took the kids to play miniture golf. It was a fun and busy week.

Next week is softball and baseball camp. I have also been contemplating coaching a softball team in the fall. Think I can do it?

Tomorrow I will officially have been in VA for a year. Crazy!!! Well to another year and another week. Sorry Mom. Love ya.

What!!! July already.......

14 days from now is my 1 Year Nanny Anniversary. Crazy to think that already a year has gone by. Summer has officially started. Last week was Football camp for Morgan. She was the only girl there. Suprise, suprise. She was suprised but how many girls do you know that want to go to football camp. I am proud of her though. She stuck it out and hung in there for the week. This week she is off which means a lot of entertaining on my part although I am not much help there because I am sick and dont feel good at all.

Scott is at his first camp this week. Baseball camp. He was very excited and basically told me to get lost once I dropped him off. Definately different than his sister.

As for me, just trying to get rid of this cold and enjoy the sun. Devon and I went to the beach last weekend and had fun. I didnt realize how High Manteinance I am but I couldnt handle the crusty motels we decided to stay in to save money. Thats my man, all about saving money. I can complain all I want now but I know it is a good thing. Still trying to get out to California. Looks like it is going to happen in August. :)
